St. Paul’s Monthly Newsletter: “The Carillon”
What is a “Carillon?
A carillon is a musical instrument composed of at least 23 carillon bells, arranged in chromatic sequence, so tuned as to produce concordant harmony when many bells are sounded together. It is played from a keyboard that allows expression through variation of touch. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church has an electronic Carillon that plays throughout the day and reflects the theme of the current church season.
Our newsletter is named the Carillon because like the tolling of the church bells, we want our voices to be heard far and wide as we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
