Our History

Organized in 1892, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church has been serving Chicago Heights and the south suburbs for well over one hundred years.

We humbly began our Christian mission from our first church building way back in 1893… but we didn’t stop there! As time has passed we have served the community from several locations - and now have landed in the heart of Chicago Heights - 330 W Highland Drive.

Our school was completed in 1955 where we held worship services on the basketball court! During this time our current church building was constructed.

We have been worshiping in our current space since 1965 and look forward to many years of worship, ministry, and service to our community.
